When your car needs a Deep Clean
A Deep Clean is worth considering when dirt has built up across several parts of the car. The carpets may need extraction, vents and trim may need detailed attention, and the exterior may have bonded deposits that a normal wash has left behind.
It is suited to heavier general soiling, neglected interiors and vehicles that need a thorough clean before moving into regular upkeep. If the main concern is a particular stain, visible mould or damaged paint, mention that first so the right treatment can be assessed.

The service includes the Full Valet and adds tar removal, iron fallout removal, clay treatment and more detailed cabin cleaning.

Some deposits stay attached to the paint after ordinary washing. Tar removal targets tar contamination, while an iron-removal stage addresses suitable iron-containing deposits. Clay treatment deals with remaining bonded surface contamination.
These stages prepare and clean the surface; they do not repair paint defects. Swirls, holograms and suitable light scratches need a separate Machine Polishing assessment.
Tell us before booking if the vehicle has a ceramic coating, wrap, paint protection film or a specialist finish. Existing protection and surface condition matter when deciding how the vehicle should be treated.
Detailed care for the cabin
Vents, pedals, trim edges and the headliner need a different level of attention from a quick dust and vacuum. The Deep Clean gives these areas a place in the appointment alongside the carpet and mat work.
Interior materials also need different methods. Delicate fabric, leather, screens and headliners should not be treated as if they were the same surface. Mention unusual trim, a loose headlining or previous damage when sending your photographs.
Plan for a longer appointment
Allow approximately 4–7 hours for the cleaning work. If wet-cleaned fabric remains damp, additional drying time may be needed before normal use.
Include your vehicle details, postcode and photographs of the worst areas when enquiring. For a useful overview, show the front and rear cabin, carpets, affected trim and any visible exterior contamination.

What does this add to a Full Valet?
The Deep Clean adds tar and iron fallout removal, clay treatment, and more intensive attention to areas including the headliner, vents, pedals, plastics and leather. It includes the Full Valet’s exterior wash and carpet/mat cleaning rather than replacing those stages.
Is clay treatment included?
Yes. Clay treatment is included as part of the exterior decontamination. Tell us about any existing coating, wrap or film so the surface can be considered before treatment.
Will the paint be scratch-free afterwards?
Cleaning removes dirt and suitable contamination. Existing swirls and scratches may remain, and some can become easier to see on a clean surface. Choose a polishing assessment if improving those defects is the main aim.
Does Deep Clean include mould removal?
Visible mould needs the dedicated Mould Removal assessment. Mention it before booking rather than treating it as ordinary interior dirt, especially if the car also has damp carpets or an unresolved leak.
Is steam suitable for every surface?
No. Steam is a cleaning method for suitable materials, not a requirement for every part of the cabin. Some delicate textiles and finishes have specific care restrictions, so material and condition need to guide the treatment.
Can stains or marks remain after a Deep Clean?
Yes. Permanent staining, worn finishes and other material damage can remain after dirt has been removed. Tell us about the marks that concern you so expectations can be based on their condition.
Should I mention heavy pet hair?
Yes. Heavy embedded hair is covered by a separate Pet Hair Removal service. Include it in your enquiry so the extra work can be assessed alongside the Deep Clean.
